    This is more of a Fuck the Cops problem than with cars though. Cars are at least useful.

      Cars are useful in rural areas, absolutely, but cities should primary be built as walkable communities connected by trams, trains, buses and bike paths.

      Car dependency is completely unsustainable in the same way that flying your car off a cliff is a flight that cannot be sustained.

        A lot of smaller towns have a downtown area that could also pretty easily be served by public transit.

        In fact, that’s how a lot of the towns became towns, they were adjacent to the rail lines.

        That’s nonsense, cars will always be useful in both rural areas and cities. Goods and services must be delivered to their destinations at a scale and granularity that trains and bikes simply can’t attain. Your whole anti-car movement amounts to tilting at windmills.
