“trans rights” and gay rights don’t mix very well.

Classic right wing “divide and conquer” tactics, try to drive a wedge between trans and gay people, pick off the trans people first, then come for the gays next. This nonsense is exactly why the LGBT acronym was made in the first place, because we (the vast majority of us, anyway) stand together in solidarity and reject this idiotic nonsense.

        Completely wrong.

Gay is same sex attraction. Nothing at all to do with gender and especially not gender identity.

Trans people and advocates call gay men who won’t date a trans man (a female) “bigots” and “transphobes”. They say that a male can be a lesbian, and if a lesbian won’t suck a “female penis” she is transphobic and a bigot. That’s homophobia, and like I said, it is rife in the TQ community.

Gay rights and trans rights are not compatible. One is based on sexual attraction, one is based on “gender identity”, the latter of which tries to force the former to not exist. The trans activists don’t even hide it - they call it “genital preference” and say it’s transphobic. That’s incredibly homophobic.

Blah blah blah. The Nazis started by coming after trans people too, gay people wound up in camps all the same. Divide and conquer, you’re not as clever with this BS as you think.

Boo-boo, I’m a trans man. Telling me that being trans is homophobic is not the move.

Radicalized theories of transgender identity also now serve to promote the idea that gender and sexuality are not only different, but unconnected. In one narrow sense, there is some basis to this: All men are not sexually attracted to women, and vice versa—which is why separating desire from gender is important. But it’s one thing to say that your gender doesn’t predict who you will be sexually attracted to (which is true), and quite another to say that gender has absolutely nothing to do with sexuality, which (as I will illustrate by way of autobiography later in this essay) is false.

Holy shit, they gave this dumbass a PhD?

Amazing that your same source (different author) has an article praising John Money. The guy who made David Reimer pretend to have sex with his brother to convince him that he was a girl. That’s fascinating - usually “TERFs” like to bring up Money to condemn “the trans movement.”
