        There is a North America, and there is a South America,

        Those are two separate continents.

        You can check on any map of continents and that will show you that this is true information.

            while the precise line you draw is arbitrary, it’s pretty universal to draw general cultural borders between europe/the middle east/the india area/the rest of east asia
