You know everyone talks about press freedom, no one talks about how the press got us to this point by just creating lots of sensational news for views. Or not covering things with the necessary context, and end of the day playing into the states agenda at best or creating their own narratives at worst.
Is there such a thing as independent media, at the scales of a MSNBC, CNN or FOX?
Also most of the press in the US is owned by some billionaire, how does that factor into this?

I’d personally like my press to have a little less freedom to grift and a little more discipline to report.
