I have a scope set up on this CYMA CM.401 airsoft MP5 replica. It’s compatible with 11 mm rails by default, hence the adapter between the scope and the 22 mm MP5 rail.
I’ve lost one of the… “clamps”(?) for the adapter alongside the screw a few months ago in an airsoft match, and I thought that I’d get by with just one screw since “oh come on, it’s just an airsoft gun”, but it turns out that even on an airsoft gun the force from the electric motor is enough to throw the scope’s aim off with only one screw.
I want to purchase a replacement “clamp” (and a screw if possible, but not necessary, since I can just borrow one from my red dot), but I don’t even kinda know where to start looking for one. Can anyone help me out?
It is a CYMA. In retrospect, I think a railed grip like yours would have been more practical than my SD, but I do like being able to fully collapse the stock.
If I can be a spoilsport, please, please don’t use lasers. Lasers introduce real world eye safety hazards, some more than others, but none of them are great. Especially cheapo lasers from aliexpress or wherever can sometimes be stronger than listed because neither the buyers or sellers tend to care. My laserbox is fake and is only an external battery compartment for the gun.
My stock is also foldable, actually! Emphasis on foldable, as yours looks to be actually collapsible.
Very, VERY valid point, and yeah, I don’t use my laser at all, really - it functions as tacticool decor more than anything else. I forgot to mention it’s a laser+flashlight module, with a function to switch on either or both, and so I always basically use the flashlight and nothing else.
I saw the button to fold yours but didn’t see a seam, so didn’t know if it was just fixed with some cosmetics. I really like bringing the stock in both for close quarters and even for being in the woods to very easily get behind the scope while wearing a mask.
I have a friend who got an MP5K and it is even better in close quarters.
