If you are happy enough living with your parents and your son is, I’d stay where I was and save money. Presumably your dad’s offer will still stand in a year or two, by which time you will have more money saved.

If you’re actively trying to find a partner though, maybe having your own place would suit that.

If so, I’d buy near my parents so that they can still help.
