The ladies tend to wait until they’re alone before they drop a deuce.
They what? (What country is this?)
That sounds like you’ll never be able to go 😅
To be fair, I’ve not been in the ladies toilets (Australia), so can’t really comment on the state of things there.
I will say one thing, the number of times I have to wipe down a seat with piss on it on the men’s toilets is ridiculous. Fucking a lot dirty bastards out there, who honestly, I think have a screw loose.
I get the line is long for the ladies sometimes, but you’re brave to venture to the men’s based solely on how dirty it often is.
A friend of mine when I was 12/13 downloaded some hacks for Combat Arms (a free FPS back in the day) and made his windows unusable (with “noob” as the time).
Good memories
Original commenter was making a joke, it’s called hyperbole.
There are cases where your sentiment makes sense (Women disparaging someone about dick size for example. Not sure how that’s different from men commenting on people’s boobs), but this isn’t one of those cases.
The commenter doesn’t actually advocate killing someone because they bumped up against them.
I think you should consider lightening up.
I feel like a single line through would have been the correct design choice, still, because in practically every other context, that’s what’s used (no smoking signs, for example).
Seems like many, many other places around the world put a line through for road signs (though a couple outside Europe don’t, and even some inside Europe do): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prohibitory_traffic_sign
My 2¢, Europe is wrong on this one, despite being right on so much else haha
Just my two cents, not having a go at you:
This is why I’m a pragmatic prescriptivist, I want people to follow norms for ease of communication, unless their innovation fills a need/fixes something about the language.
Stupid english with its stupid verbs.
We’ve got “to” and “from” why do we need to have two differently spelt verbs for basically the same thing.
Sure, you could argue that you can just say “they are emigrating” to imply people are leaving the country permanently, but let’s be honest, not providing any other context it’s practically unheard of. You’ll at least be saying where they currently are, came from, or going to, unless you’re being very abstract. Even then, you couls say “the migrants were immigrating” to be very vague about it. Both immigrating and emigrating involve moving, wtf is the point?
I’m glad few people “properly” use “emigrate” these days. Let’s kill it, it’s redundant!
I may have even gotten the difference wrong, but I’m not gonna look it up since I don’t want to use it anyway haha
People who consume sci-fi and fantasy thinking there should be no politics, don’t understand the genre at all.
Can we really point to a single instance of a good sci-fi/fantasy that doesn’t touch on politics/societal commentary at all?
I doubt it.
