Queer tiefling fire witch
I’m a sideshow performer so I got a few neat tricks. First and foremost is my tongue, or I guess, tongues. I have two. Secondly I’m fairly fire resistant and have burned myself so much that it killed my arm hair. Third I can comfortably tap the back/inside of my skull with a 6" drill bit, through my sinuses.
Toronto is amazing. It’s a lot like NYC but clean, better run, and less densely populated. My friend describes it as NYC run by the Swiss, and I’ve loved all the time I’ve spent there
The weather can be hit or miss, but it didn’t bother me, even with the endless snow. I’m moving there soon and I’m super excited for it.
Spent 5 weeks in CA in winter, about to cross for hopefully the last time. We crossed via NY. Surprisingly no issues (and I’m trans). The guy in the F150 ahead of us got held up and sent to secondary though.
However, I wouldn’t recommend it if you can avoid it. It’s only getting riskier to cross into the US by the day and they will quickly brand you a terrorist and detain you if they’re having a bad day.
I watched someone drive off after hitting a cyclist and breaking his arm. Driver even stopped for a moment to look, then sped off.
I’m trans, lesbian, and Hispanic. Next week I’m permanently leaving the US with my partner.
This week has had a lot of crying. I cried at my work goodbye party on Tuesday. Yesterday I hosted a going away show for my community at an amazing bar (I’m a performer). Have you ever seen 50 people crying simultaneously at a bar? Today I cried when I said my last goodbyes to my coworkers, since they are actually great people.
So overall very heavy with mixed feelings. I’m thrilled that I have a ticket out of this mess, I’m terrified for my friends and family who are staying behind, I’m beyond furious that this is all happening, I’m mourning the life I’m leaving behind, and I’m exhausted from everything
