Yet you can understand a red light, even without a strike through. Europeans just consistently transferred the principle. A crossed out sign means the regulation ends there, which is extremely intuitive.

Poor design. If you were colour blind,
Everybody from Europe would get the (un?)intended meaning of the sign in the cartoon (biking prohibited) and it’s black and white. It just needs to be taught once.

I couldn’t find the cost per passenger kilometer to compare so I can only say that flying emits much more co2 than every other form of transportation. Since climate change is going to cost us a lot I’d say the cost of flying exceeds the costs of car resp. train infrastructure.

There’s one nation acting erratically, disrespectful, and without an ounce of decorum. Then, there’s a nation that, instead of cowering in fear as it used to be, responds to clown behavior with humor. Which is probably for the best.

This is also true for roads. Prioritizing roads is ideologically motivated.

I live in a place with passable public transit and I never check schedules before leaving the house. I wait 10 mins max (I’m still annoyed sometimes tho)
What’s up with all these 2010 memes with democrat talking points showing up recently? Was there like a thinktank that came up with the idea to reach more fellow kids?
Dumbest sentiment I read in a while. People, even kids, are pretty much aware of what’s happening (remember Fridays for Future?), but the rich have coopted the power apparatus and they are not letting anyone get in their way of destroying the planet to become a little richer.
