How does one verify that a gift card bought from Amazon is legit?

Yeah like my math on this is rusty, but say you were given $5000 a day for 10 days, starting when Columbus sailed in 1492. Assuming 2% annual interest isn’t it like ($5000*10)*(1+2%)^(2025-1492) = $1.9B
